Patrick Warburton is an American actor and producer. He is mainly known for playing Kronk in The Emperor's New Groove, Kronk's New Groove, and The Emperor's New School.
Biography[]
Warburton was born in Paterson, New Jersey on November 14, 1964. He is the sone of orthpedic surgeon John Charles Warburton Jr. and Barbara Jeanne Gratz. He and his three siters, Mary Lara, and Megan, were raised in a "very religious" and "conservative" Cathoic family in Huntington Beach, California, where he attended Saint Simon and Jude Catholic School.
Career[]
In the 1990s, Patrick Warburton was known for his reccuring role in Seinfeld as DAvid Puddy, the on-again, off- again boyfriend of Elane Benes. He is best known for his role as the titular character of the 2001 Fox sitcom The Tick, his recurring roles as David Puddy in the NBC sitcom Seinfeld (1995–1998), Jeff Bingham in the CBS sitcom Rules of Engagement (2007–2013), and for his voice roles as Joe Swanson in the Fox animated sitcom Family Guy (since 1999), Tucker X in the Nickelodeon series The X's, Lok in the Tak and the Power of Juju video game franchise and television series of the same name, Flynn in the Skylanders video game franchise and its spin-off TV series Skylanders Academy, and Brock Samson in the Adult Swim series The Venture Bros. (since 2003). He is also well-known for voicing Ian the mule deer in Sony Pictures' Open Season, Ken and Agamemnon in DreamWorks' Bee Movie and Mr. Peabody & Sherman (respectively), Titan in Space Chimps and its 2010 sequel, and Wolf W. Wolf in Hoodwinked! and its 2011 sequel. Additionally, he played the titular character of the Netflix TV series adaptation of A Series of Unfortunate Events. For Disney, he has done many voice roles, but his most notable roles are Kronk in The Emperor's New Groove, its 2005 sequel, and the TV series, as well as the titular character of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. He also portrayed Officer Walter Kramitz in the 2002 Touchstone Pictures film Big Trouble, Patrick in the pre-show videos of Soarin', and Cad Lackey in the 2007 live-action adaptation of Underdog. Additionally, he played General Stoner in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
