Jean-Paul Manoux is an American actor, director, and writer. He is well known for potraying Kuzco in The Emperor's New School
Early life[]
Manoux was born in Fresno, California on June 8, 1969. He is one of Armeninan and French descent, with his Aremenian grandparents fleeing the Aremanian Genocide. He grew up in Santa Barbara, California, he is the eldest of seven childre. J.P. Manoux atteded Thacher School, California and Northwestern University. He graduated and moved to Hollywood, and studied Improve and sketch comedy at L.A. Thatresports, ACME Comedy Theatre, The Groudlings Schools, and IO west.
Career[]
His debut as actor was in the horror movie Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings. He made a minor role in ER in 1996, and directed episodes of the Disney original series Aaron Stone and Phil of the Future. In The Emperor's New School, he was called to replace David Spade in the role of Kuzco. He played him in all the episodes of both seasons. Manoux has portrayed a character Moby on several occasion in the How I Met Your Mother episode The Limo and four episode run Community.
